My poor Abi has had some major issues with her skin. She has had eczema forever but it has never been like this. I use all the right soaps and wash everything before she wears it. I have consulted with dermatologists, pediatricians, naturalists etc. We went to another dermatologist because it is just getting worse and he put her on prednisone and another steroid cream. I will hopefully be posting pictures of an Abi with her normal skin very soon!
Ava was at a friends house and pulled their drawer out too far and it fell on her toe.
Needless to say she cried on and off for almost 2 hours, wore slippers to school and to church, and danced without a ballet shoe because it was too tight (they are new they better not be tight)!
Josh went to DC for 3 days (he was gone for 5 since he had to fly out of SLC) and brought us back matching t-shirts. He also brought the girls necklaces. He was chosen to go to the holocaust museum and have classes for 3 days. He had a great time and learned so much!
This is Josh with a holocaust survivor that came and talked with them.
For those of you who watched the dinner incident from the last post this is the picture that goes along with it. This is Ava when she discovered that we had recorded her terrible dinner episode!
The girls were so sweet about Josh leaving. They made him love notes the night before he left and gave him some of their candy! They prayed for him everyday including the 2 days before he left. They were super good and helpful for me (maybe he should go more often) and couldn't wait for him to get home. The day he was coming home they counted down the hours until he got here. I love being a mom and I love watching Josh with our girls. He is a great dad who teaches them so much. I am so glad to have him home, I worked everyday while he was gone and then did everything else by myself. I have always said I could never be a single mom and it is so true, I was getting grumpy after only 5 days. I am grateful for Josh and I admire single moms even more now!
Ava is so funny and I just love the video clip! You are such a great mom! We miss you guys!
