Ava Lillie

            I have never posted without a picture but Ava said some funny things lately and I want to share!
We took the girls out to dinner for V-day on Saturday and Ava asked me what the sign on the door of the restaurant said.  I told her it said "pull" which she herself could read but she wanted to make sure.  She asked me what the door was for and I told her it was an emergency exit in case there was a fire or something.  She thought for a minute and then said "well, I wish there was a fire, I want to slide down the pole, it's really fun."  At first I didn't know what she meant and then I realized she thought I said "pole" not "pull"and she of course thought of going to the fire station where my brother works and sliding down the pole because there was a fire!  It is so amazing how little minds work!
Then tonight she needed one more Valentine for her teacher but she wanted one of Abi's because they are bigger (bigger is more impressive for a teacher of course).  Abi told her where they were (upstairs) and told Ava she could go and get one.  Ava started screaming at Abi that she always tells her what to do and makes her do everything so Abi doesn't have to do anything.  She finally yelled as she was stomping up the stairs, "I am not your slob Abi!"  She meant slave but I didn't want to tell her, she was too mad and if you have felt Ava's wrath you know what I mean!  I am always telling my girls that I am not their slave and that they need to clean up after themselves, I also tell Abi (probably in the same sentence) that she is a slob second only to her slob of the world uncle Travis (love ya Trav :).  No wonder she confused the two words!!
